‘Glass half full’: Next-generation sequencing for advanced cancer lags, but rates improving
Nearly half of people diagnosed with advanced cancer over a recent 5-year period did not undergo next-generation sequencing, according to results of a retrospective cohort study.Rates improved over time, but several factors — including socioeconomic status, race, ethnicity and insurance coverage — appeared associated with delays in testing.
