The Chesapeake Correctional Center’s Small Engine Repair is giving participants the tools to rebuild their lives. Since 2019, they’ve been learning how to work on 2- and 4-stroke engines, gaining hands-on experience under the guidance of Master Deputy Rodriguez. When they finish, participants earn a nationally recognized STIHL Bronze Level Certification, opening the door to real job opportunities after release.
