Sumatran Short-tailed Pythons (Python curtus) hatching. AKA Black Bloods. We are so happy to have recently hatched an amazing clutch of these snakes. So undertated in the trade. They become big gentle giants and rarely bite comaprate to other species of Short-tailed Pythons AKA Blood Pythons. Becoming the heaviest bodied snakes in the world for their lenght. The can get around 1,8 to 2 m max and upto 20kg. The Malaysian Short-tailed Pythons becoming the largest. #python #pythoncurtis #shorttaile

Part 2: Taking eggs from Big Girl Malaysian Short-tailed Python AKA Blood Python (Python brongersmai). She was amazingly calm and such a pleasure. The long tongue flicks show me she is not in a defensive mind set. If you just see the forkes of the tongue static in the mouth, then you know you in trouble.
