After my recent assessment I discovered some students need a little extra help with the short “O” sound, so I designed a focused routine around it. We begin with a fluency strip warm‑up, then use a small‑group sheet for targeted sound‐mapping and practice, and end with a decodable book that reinforces the short “O” in a meaningful reading context.
