Pair of Reticulated Pythons (Malayopython reticulatus) showing how the male uses his spurs to tickle the female in courtship. I have read they use the spurs to hold a female in place and even them while climbing but have never witnessed this in all my years. Not even once! Yes, sure it can be done and maybe depends on the individuals personality. When it comes to tickling a female in courtship, it's pretty much guaranteed.
