The Smith Machine bent over row is probably the best way to do a bent over row. Now, compared to other row variations that are more stable, Those who choose to do the bent over rows probably want that lower back erector’s involvement. But the Smith Machine takes away the awkward balancing act you have to do while still keeping the erectors involved. Call it the best of both worlds.
