This project requires drawing a self-portrait from life. Utilize interior or exterior space in an interesting way to achieve a dynamic composition and setting. Your portrait should include your head, face, and some amount of your shoulders and possibly part of your torso. The main goal is to have a strong direct likeness of you depicted in an interesting space that tells an enigmatic story about yourself. Your composition (ranging from hyper elaborate to something more minimal) should correspond to your identity or your enigmatic story. You may incorporate color in this drawing. One suggestion is to use graphite to build up the drawing, including a full range of values, and then to add colored pencil over the graphite.
